For the part of you that is still trying to feel safe.
Sessions led by Erica Rivera, EFT International Certified Practitioner & APA-Certified Hypnotherapist
You may understand the decision and still be unable to move. Knowing what you should do does not automatically resolve fear, grief, guilt, shame, overthinking, perfectionism, self-doubt, loyalty to an identity you have outgrown, or the physical response that appears whenever you try to act.
That is where EFT Tapping and Hypnotherapy may support the work. These sessions can be booked separately. You do not need to be enrolled in a career strategy engagement.
Standalone Session · 60 minutes
EFT Tapping
For the feeling that keeps taking over the conversation.
EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, combines focused language with gentle tapping on acupressure points. The session gives you a structured way to work with the emotional intensity attached to a specific situation.
You might book a session because:
- You freeze every time you try to make the decision
- You know what you want but feel guilty choosing it
- You are terrified of being seen, rejected, or judged
- You cannot stop rehearsing the worst possible outcome
- A layoff or professional loss still feels emotionally charged
- You keep procrastinating on an action that matters
- Your body responds as though the decision is dangerous
In the session: we identify one clear issue and the thoughts, feelings, sensations, and beliefs connected to it. I guide you through rounds of tapping using language specific to your experience, we track how the intensity changes, and you leave with a short tapping sequence you can continue using on your own.
Standalone Session · 75 minutes
Hypnotherapy
For the pattern you understand intellectually but keep repeating anyway.
Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, focused attention, imagery, and suggestion to work with beliefs and patterns beneath the level of constant conscious analysis. You remain aware and in control throughout the session.
Potential session themes:
- Confidence during a career transition
- Trusting your judgment
- Releasing fear around visibility
- Detaching identity from a title or employer
- Feeling safe receiving more money
- Moving through procrastination
- Rehearsing a difficult conversation
- Preparing emotionally for relocation
- Strengthening a consulting or leadership identity
- Letting go of an old professional version of yourself
In the session: we clarify the issue, the desired change, and the language that feels true for you. I then guide you into a relaxed, focused state. The session may include imagery, reframing, emotional processing, future rehearsal, and suggestions connected to the outcome you want. You receive an integration practice to use afterward.
Combined Session · 90 minutes
EFT + Hypnotherapy
When the issue has both emotional intensity and a deeper repeating pattern.
This combined session begins with EFT to reduce the immediate emotional charge, then uses hypnotherapy to support the belief, identity, or behavioral shift underneath it. Appropriate when the fear feels intense and deeply rooted, when you are preparing for a major decision or conversation, or when a significant career or life transition is activating several layers at once.
Questions people ask before they book.
Are EFT and hypnotherapy sessions therapy?
No. They are educational and supportive personal-development services led by an EFT International certified practitioner and APA-certified hypnotherapist. They are not psychotherapy, medical care, diagnosis, or treatment for a mental health condition, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed mental health professional.
Do I need to be a coaching client to book a session?
No. These sessions are bookable on their own. Some people come only for the inner work. Others add sessions alongside a career strategy engagement when something emotional keeps blocking the plan.
Are sessions online?
Yes. All sessions happen over Google Meet, so you can book from anywhere. EFT and hypnotherapy both work well over video, and you will be somewhere you feel comfortable, which usually helps.
How do I choose between EFT, hypnotherapy, or the combined session?
A rough guide: EFT when a specific feeling keeps taking over, like fear, guilt, or a frozen response around one situation. Hypnotherapy when you understand the pattern intellectually but keep repeating it anyway. The combined session when both are true at once. If you are unsure, book the free consultation and we will figure it out together.
Will I be aware of what is happening during hypnotherapy?
Yes. Hypnotherapy is a relaxed, focused state, not unconsciousness and not mind control. You stay aware and in control the entire time, you can speak, and you can stop the session whenever you want.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what we are working with. Each session is designed to stand on its own, and you leave with a practice to continue using. Some people book a single session around one decision or event. Others book a short series while moving through a bigger transition. There is no package you must commit to.
You do not have to know which kind of support you need before we talk.
